Center for Urban Agriculture

Urban farming is at the front line of the food system, paving the way to sustainable city living. Urban farms improve access to locally grown food, using less space and special facilities than traditional farming.

CAES and Extension faculty work to educate Georgians, empowering them to embrace urban agriculture in their own backyards. We are committed to using science and technology to improve local food systems and address emerging issues in unique, innovative ways.
